# Painted Halloween

> Upload one photograph and become the monster: 24 horror styles, rendered from your own face and printed up to 40 × 60″. Plus 126 original Nightfables monsters.

## What it is

A horror render studio. Customers upload a photograph and are rendered into one of 24 scary-movie and monster styles, sold as fine-art prints, canvas and apparel. Also carries the 126-piece Nightfables collection of original monster art. Adults only, no cute themes, no children's section.

Painted Halloween by Painted.App. Run by PaintedApp, LLC, Portland, Oregon. Support: support@painted.app.

## How it works

- One photograph: a clear adult face, roughly toward the camera. Phone photos are fine. Group shots are not: one face gets picked, and it may not be yours.
- One style: the same recipe that painted the exemplars on the wall is run on your face. The prompt is built on the server, so what you get is the style you chose.
- Ninety seconds: the poster lands at 1024 × 1536 and the still at 1536 × 1024. Keep it as a file, or buy it as a print up to 40 × 60″. What you see on screen is what goes to the printer, rebuilt at print resolution the moment you pay.
- Your words, if you want them: the type desk sets a title, your name and a tagline in the type of that year. No real film or series titles, studio names or real people.
- Pets: a dog or cat can sit instead, for 20 of the 24 styles.
- Passes: every visitor gets 4 free passes. One pass is one render of one photograph, returned as an upright poster and a widescreen still. After those, 10 more passes cost $10.
- Looking is free and every render is yours to refuse: only the one you chose is printed.
- Your photograph goes to the engine twice, once for the poster and once for the still, and is not kept. The render is stored so it can be printed: keep one and it lands on your wall, and write to support@painted.app and we delete it.
- A paid print order waits an hour before it goes to the printer; inside that hour it can be cancelled and refunded in full. Files are delivered on payment.
